Whole Roaster Chicken

Our whole roaster chicken is excellent for either a family dinner or for multiple meals. Make sure to keep the bones and extra bits for a wonderful chicken stock.

Chickens at Acorn Pastures are pasture raised, meaning that once they are out of the brooder, they get full-access to grass. They are raised in chicken tractors, protecting them from predators, and moved daily. They are fed a diet of locally sourced chicken feed and the grub they find on the ground. We don't treat our chickens with any antibiotics or medications.

Safety tip: Using a meat thermometer ensures your chicken will be perfectly cooked and will guarantee the safety of you and your family. The USDA recommends an internal temp of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
